1-5 Hayes Road,Rosebery, NSW,NSW,Australia
The Hayesbery is Goodman's flagship workspace. Located in Rosebery, this space takes the company back to its industrial heartland, while the redeveloped heritage site has helped redefine our operations for the future. The space has been designed with health and wellbeing, sustainability and technology at the forefront.
The Hayesbery is a masterclass of innovation, quality and adaptive reuse of an underutilised heritage industrial site with Goodman transforming four neglected industrial buildings into a sustainable, integrated, flexible campus-style workplace.
With a rich history, the site was originally built in the 1920's and home to a hat factory specialising in woven straw and felt hats. The current design took on a light touch approach when it came to both maintaining the authenticity and heritage of the original warehouse. The industrial heritage has been celebrated using carefully selected materials including timber, metal and brick and refined finishes to pay tribute to the original craftsmanship of the building's heritage. Woven metal work, hand-stitched leather details and solid timber joinery, hand-finished with expressed connections are signature design elements used to celebrate and pay homage to the rich history of the site.
Set over four buildings, The Hayesbery campus is connected by a shared external laneway, creating a contemporary workspace that flows easily between indoor and outdoor spaces.
