The artist - B Hardy
Bernadette (B) Hardy is a Cannemegal (Prospect) and Gamilaraay woman with Irish and English heritage. She is a transdisciplinary artist and co-leader of hardyhardy, a design studio based on Dharug Country, Greater Sydney.
B's work is deeply influenced by her identity and her PhD, which focuses on autistic culture through an Indigenous lens. Using her unique methodologies—Country Sensing Design and Design Relationality—she explores the connection between Country and the built environment, creating designs that nurture relationships and foster a sense of belonging.
