RFS Helicopter

A multi-purpose helicopter donated by Goodman to the NSW RFS continues to help save lives.

 

State-of-the-art helicopters can be invaluable in providing disaster relief. They can conduct water bombing in fire operations, handle flood search and rescue missions, and transport personnel in and out of emergency zones. 

The multi-purpose helicopter donated in 2021 by Goodman to the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) is an ongoing representation of Goodman Foundation’s commitment to supporting organisations and communities providing disaster relief.  

The helicopter, the largest ever corporate donation to the NSW RFS, will save lives for at least a decade. Initially purchased for firefighting, the helicopter’s use now extends beyond that to search, rescue, training and certification.
