Toll is a leading provider of express road freight within Australia and the Asia Pacific region, providing freight solutions to many industries including the fashion and retail sectors and the mining and resource industry.
Toll operates an extensive global network comprising of over 1,200 sites in 55 countries and is one of Goodman's largest customers globally.
Toll required a new primary freight distribution hub in Sydney. They needed a larger facility to meet growing demand from their customers in NSW, and were looking to improve their market share in online retailing logistics by using more efficient freight handling methods.

Goodman’s Bungarribee Industrial Estate in Western Sydney suited Toll’s locational requirements, due to its’ size and strategic location close to the M4 and M7 Motorways junction.
Goodman worked in close consultation with Toll from the concept design phase through to completion, to meet their stringent operational requirements and take consideration of the functional layout of the warehouse and distribution facility. This included integrating their state-of-the-art conveyor and sortation system into the building design and fit-out.
The warehouse was constructed with extensive dock faces to enable easier access for the significant number of freight vehicles that access the site daily.
Goodman successfully delivered a logistics space that is critical to Toll's operations. The overall site size is 180,000 sqm which incorporates a 53,682 sqm warehouse and office facility, truck parking, customer parking, truck wash, fuel filling facilities and weigh bridges, plus a high level of security surveillance.
The state-of-the-art conveyor and sortation system has the capacity to move 35,000 parcels per hour.
The location at Bungarribee Industrial Estate provides significant logistical efficiencies with excellent access to Sydney’s Motorway network.
